REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF WHEELCHAIRS

The wheelchair is provided as part of testing/piloting a prototype of an innovative

phone number in the wheelchair docking station panel. After entering it, you will receive an
access code to unlock the wheelchair.
3. Follow the instructions on the panel.
4. The number of wheelchairs is limited, so return the wheelchair as soon
as possible so that others can use it.
5. Each wheelchair under the pilot program has a device monitoring its
location. Leaving the hospital buildings and property is prohibited. If
you do, you will trigger an alarm. Information that the wheelchair is where it
should not be is automatically forwarded to the services, which will take appropriate
intervention.
6. When you take the wheelchair, you are responsible for it until it is returned. In
the event of damage, destruction or theft of the wheelchair, the last person
who took the wheelchair is obliged to repair the damage caused, including

necessary, the police will be notified.
9. After using the wheelchair, immediately return it to the wheelchair docking station and
lock it in the aforementioned station. Make sure that the wheelchair has been parked in a way that

Provincial Specialist Hospital in Olsztyn
The Provincial Specialist Hospital in Olsztyn is the largest public specialist hospital in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, treating patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Patients arriving for medical appointments or other visitors to hospital patients have very limited access to mobility equipment such as wheelchairs. Our healthcare system does not provide staff responsible for helping the patient to get to appointments, so the patient must rely on a family member, caregiver or hospital staff, in which case the staff is distracted from their duties related to helping such a person.
The hospital is looking for a user-friendly, comprehensive and sustainable solution to this challenge.
